An important artistic event at the Baccaroartgallery in Pagani (SA), held on March 2- 16, features the solo exhibitions ‘Il colore resto io’ by Rocco Borella and ‘Tracce e segni di questo tempo’ by Guido Profumo.
Guido Profumo is an artist known for his rough, pungent style, characterized by colours that are almost wounded and lacerated to reveal the traces that lie beneath the outer layer, a mix of compact materials and light.
The works in the exhibition portray the artist’s view of the reality of our time, which is characterized by radical mutations, including in lifestyle.
Guido Profumo’s art is a line of paint that runs away from the vortex and out of the canvas… an endless line… a simple way out, a postponement to the answers.
